It's hard to put a number on Indiana or Michigan, but assuming everything goes well I don't think Urban will run it up too bad on Illinois. Maybe 50ish at most, like Purdue.
With great field position and 3-and-outs we could, theoretically, score 100 against scUM. But... I just don't think it'll happen.

Through nine games:

Ohio State's offense is scoring 48.2 ppg
Illinois' defense is surrendering 34.7 ppg
Indiana's defense is surrendering 37.4 ppg
Michigan's defense is surrendering 25.9 ppg

Ohio State's offense has looked unstoppable the past two games (119 points), and Urban needs to impress some pollsters. It could get ugly, especially in Ann Arbor against a Michigan team that might have quit on its coach.

I voted less than 150 because of the scUM game. It is usually close. But this year's game might be different though. We'll see.
Ohio State put up 42 against Penn State and Purdue ... in the first half! I don't see how Illinois and Indiana keep us under 60, and if we start seeing some pick sixes and special teams scores and fifth-string tailbacks breaking off 50-yard runs, then 70+ is a real possibility in each game. Even if the Michigan defense plays us tough, I don't see how they hold us under 35 points. I'd be surprised if Ohio State scores less than 150 points.

The question is when does he pull the starters and just kill the clock?
Against PSU - Braxton was out halfway through the 3rd, and I think we ran just 1 or 2 passes in the 4th?
Against Purdue - Braxton was out at halftime.

There's probably multiple reasons for that discrepancy. Pedo State being Pedo State, PSU had some points on the board, Hazell is a good guy, etc. ?
Assuming all goes well, I think he pulls Braxton at the half for Illinois.
Indiana will probably be able to put some points up on us... so we may see Braxton running it up in the 3rd?
Against scUM... well... how much does Urban really want to utterly dismantle them ? How much do we want to protect our starters against a bunch of thugs whose coach has demonstrably lost all control of them and tacitly supports their antics ?

Illinois close to 60 depending upon how long the starters stay in.
Definitely 60 against Indiana with their up-tempo style of play.
Hard to say against TSUN but close to 50 if not more and Urban will not call off the dogs in this one.

This thread reeks of overconfidence. Lets not pull a Oregon.

I was kind of split on that. But I can't help thinking... given what we've seen from these 3... and as a fan not associated with or affecting the team, I think I can safely say they *should* be blowouts. If they aren't, something went wrong (and yea, it's happened before [shrugs]).
I'd feel less inclined if we were talking about MSU... I think we're better than them and I think in some ways they play to our strengths (Dave), but they will definitely give us a game and if we trip up, they will take advantage of it.
