I drive 118 miles daily, unless i pick up my daughter up at day care or at my mother in-laws, then i drive between 135 - 145.

New job = first commute in my life. 9 miles. 15 minutes in the morning and 20-30 in the evening due to the construction.

a one hour (each way) commute in Jersey is considered routine...
folks from here that work in Manhattan say "one hour" .. which is true.. the train ride is one hour.. they seem to forget the 20 minutes to the train station... 20 minutes to find a parking spot.. and 20 minutes after they get to Madison Square Gardens... 2 hours each way !!! sad part is.. if you left at midnight... you could be there by car in 45 minutes...

my commute however... is 8 minutes... I picked out my office location...

20 miles to work with one toll stop. My truck only gets about 15 MPG, and the toll is $.25, so I spend roughly $8.50 to go to work and back each day.

Mine is about 35 mins garage to parking lot, then about another 10 from parking lot to desk. You have to love the federal logic of making one really long parking lot on one side of the bldg instead of 4 much closer lots on all 4 sides

total of about 27 miles door to door.

14 miles round trip... shortest commute I've had. But the speed limit on the main route into town makes several sudden changes between 40 and 25 where the signs are not very visible until you're on top of them, and there are usually police cars within a block of the sign... I'm pretty good about paying attention but am probably doomed. Have to find a route that isn't so clearly earmarked for revenue generation.

I live roughly 4 miles from where I work. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get here on the express bus.
