Happy 48th Annuversary, @buckeyeintn.

Thank you! We are on our way to the Black Hills. We drove up to Hannibal, MO yesterday and did the Mark Twain thing today. Huck's character was based on a boyhood friend who shares the the same last name as me. Obviously just a coincidence, since I could never live up to his exploits, try as I might when I was younger. We'll get to Rapid City tomorrow and spend a few days looking at wildlife and other really cool natural wonders. Probably take in a little rock carving that some people seem to think is impressive (since that is the heart of the reason for going).
Anyway, thanks for thinking of us!

Wifey and I hit 35 years in July 2024. Can't hold a candle to the above folk, but there it is. got a late start, as my first marriage lasted all of 18 months, and it took me 15 years to get over that first experience. I give most of the credit to my wife, as I'm not the easiest person to live with. Anyway, congrats to all of us, as it seems like the "till death do us part" seems to have been morphed into "till I get tired of it" or somesuch. PS, nowhere in our vows does it say anything about Yard Sales.....
