You have to sign up for a "trial" subscription to read this article but it might be worth it for some of you.

TLDR - check in on the women in your life. A lot of them might be developing some habits that they don't even realize because of how they handle stress and how wine has been very specifically marketed towards women as a means of alleviating stress.

I already know a few 30 something wine junky women from work who are wallowing in their failed relationships. It's sad really. The one common thread from what I can see is they all have over valued themselves and are looking for mister perfect. Women's value drop like a rock over time and if you find yourself as a woman 30 and single, you're fucked.

Don’t just tell her to stop. Show compassion. Point her toward professional resources to help…it’s the right thing to do
