I’m a dog person and deathly allergic to cats. My wife and two daughters came home one night six years ago with two kittens and now I post #catdaddy and #caturday photos since the cats get more constant attention from me and gravitate towards me more than any of them. I popped Zertec/Claritin everyday for years before my immune system finally caught up (I still can’t touch my nose or eyes, but I no longer look like the dude at the end of Total Recall if I sit on my own couch).

My anniversary is Jan.. will be 43 years..
reason it's in January is because the invite list was going to be around 600 (eventually paired down to 450)... I am the youngest of probably the largest family any of you have ever heard. both of us worked... large contingent of childhood and college friends... so the initial list was huge... when we started looking at workable venues in the normal May/June/July/Aug/Sept we were years out at best.. thus January was the only option for the next 2-3 years !!!

Side comedy... couple of my older relatives deduced January meant she was pregnant and we had to get married so quickly... which was far from reality...

On my parents' 20th anniversary in 1982 my 19 year old sister finally deduced that mom must have been two to three months pregnant when they married. I was only seven at that time so it took a bit longer for me to understand what that meant. To this day I think the only people that ever figured that out and discussed it were my siblings and me and our paternal grandmother. If anyone else had deduced that it was never, ever discussed.
