I may be confusing you with someone else, but aren't you happily divorced?

For the record, I'm about eight months away from hitting the first digit in Script's number.

While I am happily divorced, I doubt I will always feel like this. For the record, I'm in a relationship, still manage two fishing trips a week and rarely work past noon on Friday. And she's cool with that.

At this point I'm still waiting to see if she renews it for another year or I go home tomorrow night to find the locks changed. At this time of year I'm never sure which will happen.

Ha! I happily (sorta) don't have to deal with that right now. In 2002 my wife's friend had her marriage scheduled for the time of the Michigan game. Needless to say, my friend (who also had his wife as a bride's maid in the wedding, like mine) and I stayed at the hotel to watch the game and missed the marriage ceremony.

We were personas non grata (or however you say that) at the reception. Screw it. Football.

Good luck my man.

Is there some other pending longterm event in your life? A military deployment? Reporting to prison? Joining the Peace Corps?

Just curious what possessed you to have your wedding on a football Saturday.

We just wanted a fall wedding, and the resort we wanted it at was booked pretty far in advance. We have an early game that day against Maryland and the ceremony isn't until 5pm. I gave her a few dates that were NOT allowed (VT, PSU, MSU, UM).
