Inadvertently and by proxy, I have taught large numbers of children that "jiggly bits" sound like fried eggs, spring means animals piling on top of each other, "it's the same - AND different," grown-ups are WILD inside, and circly-things are like legos in the blender.

I firmly believe that all universities should mandate at least one course in MANAGEMENT SKILLS for all PhD candidates. This would hopefully help alleviate at least some of the misery I note many of my contemporaries sharing with me.

Today (actually yesterday evening) I learned that when administering IE for XP, you must administer SP1 machines with SP1, and SP2 machines with SP2 or nothing will ever change and might, in some cases erase all the settings period. I have never ever ever seen this documented, fucking Microsoft.

Affirmative. I am now an administrator at ITT. Worked out to about a 15% raise in pay, more flexible hours (don't have to be in until noon on Mondays and Tuesdays), my own office with my name on the door and, of course, tons of hot tail.
