Soooo...it was mid June when I had to pay over 9K for a new engine in my SUV because a fuel injector stuck open, filled the damn engine with fuel and broke a rod that scoured the inside of the block.

So today I was on my way to an unveiling of my buddy's dad's painting at the local appellate courthouse when suddenly the car started shuddering and the engine light went on. I was near the dealership that put in the engine, so I limped in. They told me they would look at in a few days, and that if I waited for an hour or two they could shuttle me downtown. Only 30 minutes later the nice manager agreed to pay for my rental Suburban and to have someone look at that day.

You guessed it. Another fuel injector stuck open. Damn. I have to finish up my Ford suit fast so I can sell that thing. :shake:

Had bad Board meeting, couldn't sleep, went into work, did a half day, said wasn't feeling well, and got in eighteen before five....couple glasses of wine with dinner, and tomorrow have an 'in-service', so won't go in until Friday.....afraid I'd be 'in-subordinate' to the Superintendent so got the hell outa dodge...

After yesterday's hurry up rush rush crap, a full dose of construction contractor's attitudes in a review meeting, and my workload that no one seems to appreciate, retirement can't get here soon enough. Can't wait for football.

Not me getting scammed (or committing suicide).......it just sucks telling a woman who was scammed out of a shit ton of money that she owes a shit ton of money to the IRS. :lol:

I was bored out of my mind and did absolutely nothing. :lol:

At least half of the office was a few blocks over in the conference center at the new minor league ballpark for the 12 month strategic planning meeting, along with all the branch directors, board members, etc. It was way too quiet in the building.

Reading/watching the news about the economy and the doom and gloom that comprise it right now. My job sucks and I don't make very much. Thinking about getting a Ducati and enjoying life while I still can since I'm never going to retire. Blah I can't even afford one of those right now.
