I was shocked/pissed/sad on Saturday night and hardly slept. I kept replaying the worst portions of the game over in my head - with the same end result every time. :(
Sunday, I woke up and tried to read the paper. Then my wife, and I took our dog on a 7 mile hike in the mountains. For 'cleansing' experiece afterwards, we took a swim in the Poudre River on our way back into town - it was so cool and refreshing, I started to feel normal again.
I think I was so upset by this loss because I had eagerly anticipated the game for years. The hype all summer fueled that anticipation and with it being in Ohio Stadium, I was positive we would come out on top. But alas, the VY hype is deserved. They were the better team on Saturday. But on the bright side, it didn't ruin our season. We've got a conference championshio to win.
