How can you guys claim 7 national championships?

except for your starting RB, who will be replacing an 1,800 yard rusher who owns the sixth highest rushing total in CFB history...

except for your WR crew, which have a combined ZERO TD catches...

except for your MLB, who will be replacing an AA and Butkus winner...

except for your placekicker whom i do not think has even attempted a collegiate FG...

why did i even bother responding...?
roflmao!! to save me the time in typing all that?

but back on topic, whatever are you thinking? each of those guys are polished and good to go! they play for texas! :p

No serious football fans question the OUS's NC's from 1942, 1954, 1957, 1968, and 2002; 1961 is a bit weaker, but still legit, IMO. I have never considered the 1970 NC to be legit, since the poll was before the bowl games (and OSU's ridiculous loss to Stanford in the Rose). However, the 1944 team (undefeated, untied) deserves more NC recognition. So, seven titles sounds about right.

It better be 7 cause I bought one of those pennant flags from the buckeye hall of fame and it says 7 I really hope I didn't get ripped off.. (unless it should be 8)

umm osu has a better history than ut- more national titles, heisman winners, u name it. imo we're on the same level as nebraska, miami, michigan and slightly below ND, SC, oklahoma, and bama, with texas in the next tier w/ teams like penn st.

Actually, Texas has the same all-time winning percentage as us (.709) and has 21 more wins. I'd say that puts them on our level.

Also, we are not below USC all-time (we're 5th in both wins and percentage, and they're 10th in wins and 9th in percentage).
