They would be unstoppable with Redd. That would give them 5 players capable of 30 on any single nite. With Jackson with a year under his belt, Varejao, Traylor, Harris, and Snow coming off the bench this team could be unstoppable.

the one person on this team I cannot stand is Newble. I wish they would just get rid of him. I have no idea why this guy starts.

He starts only because the team has been hot since he was inserted into the starting lineup. He hasn't really done anything to warrant starting, but he plays good defense and the team has been winning.

I think Pavlovic and Jackson will eventually develop into very good shooters, something we don't really have this season just because they need some experience. As long as LBJ is here, the future finally looks bright for the franchise. They may be the team to finally bring a championship to the city in the future.

The Cavs didn't have a 3 last night until Harris hit the one at the end of the game. I would love to see Jackson get to play a little more and give them a scoring threat from the outside. If worst comes to worst Z can nail a 3.

No shit OilerBuck they got their asses handed to them tonite. LBJ hasnt played very well the last two nites, Even know he went for 29 or so against the nets. It seems He is getting the ball stolen from him and some of his shots are fallen.

Back on track after throttling Denver. I made a bet last year that they'd make the playoffs, and took it to double or nothing that they'd win 50 games this year. Ten wins through sixteen games puts them on pace for a 51-31 season.

Knock on wood.

14-8 is a .636 clip, which translates to a 52-30 season record...they're on pace.

I just watched the Nets v Cavs last night in New Jersey. I haven't seen LJ play in person since he was a senior at St V's. WOW is all I can say.

He seemed to have an off night, but he still poured in 23 pts 9 boards and 9 dimes. My wife and I sat a couple rows behind Jay-Z and his expressions were price-less throughout the game. Richard Jefferson had 42 for the Nets. This guy can play.

I agree, the Cavs need another swingman to go alongside Lebron. I would love it if Redd came aboard next season.

Cavs up 31 at the half on the hapless Knicks. Much of the damage has been done with LeBron on the bench. I love this team more every day.

By the way - it's a shame Hubie Brown quit coaching, but it's great that he's calling games. I've learned a ton about basketball today just by listening to his commentary.

Gooden and Varejao for Tony Battie. I'm gonna have to give Paxson some major props on that move. Anyone would have drafted LeBron, but that trade , Jeff Mac for Miles, and bringing in Tractor Traylor have made this a very good team. I'm not sure if we'll get a SG this year, but Silas said recently he wants to get 10-12 minutes/gm to Pavlovic. He also said Jackson will see minimal time this year, but will see significant pt next year.

VR. Gooden is sure developing into a very good player night in and night out. I too was skeptical at the beginning, but he's done very well. He's also developed into a pretty decent passer, too.

Gooden & Varejao > Boozer.

...And Varejao is only a rookie. This team will be scary good after Varejao, Gooden, and Pavlovic come into their prime in the next few years (not to mention LeBron!). I think this team is about 2 years and a veteran perimeter shooter away from being really special.
