For me, it does when it's raining pretty hard...then again, I'm in Hawaii and the "angle of attack" to the satellite is very low (it's very low on the horizon), whereas in the mainland the satellite is more overhead and thus much less atmosphere to go through. I think it was DirecTV that had a commercial where customers claimed they had signal all throughout a hurricane.

I have the same problem with my satellite coverage but only with CNN. I not only have the angle of attack problem but also this large flat mountain between me and the satellite. My satellite guy claims that he can virtually make the coverage error-free with a few adjustments to the dish. Haven't put him to the test though.

OK... as this thread is only tangentially (at best) about football, I don't feel so bad asking this question.

Steve, (if that is your real name), I'm not to keen on South African geography; but what in the Wide Wide World of Sports is a FLAT mountain?????

I am going to be on the road. (Taking a trip to Florence, SC to help a buddy move back to the Buckeye state)...does anybody know if I can listen to the game over the internet? (If not, I'll still have my laptop to follow along on BP. )

Well, I thought I had the free preview of ESPNU, but sadly they took it off this weekend for HBO...so now I am scrounging around to find the game on at one of our local wings places. Hopefully, the Notre Dame game isn't on at the same time..

ESPNU WAS placed on the Dishnetwork preview for the month of October. ESPNU was PULLED on Tuesday... Hmmmm....Not on Gameplan but the sales clerk was eager to tell me that Dishnet Offers the 180 package which includes it but I REFUSE to feed the damn beast anymore!!
Once Google earth upgrades to realtime, I'll Never miss another game!
Going to the Rowdy Alumni bar in Atlanta.......
Bad frickin' week......................

I noticed that last night as I went to set up to TiVo the game. Fuckers pulled my free preview!!!

So, you're saying that I can get one day of the Top 180 package for 66cents, plus 'change fees'? So, if it's a $5 change fee, do they get me coming and going? So, it'll be $10.66 for the game?
