All right, all right, all right.
All everyone does(including myself) is cry about the ineffective "offense."
How about our defense? Am I the only one that noticed that they played their guts out tonight? They were hung out to dry on Smiths INT, and what did they do? They stuffed two straight runs, when other teams wouldve given up, then gave up a 3 yard TD, but they kept fighting.

They were held on almost every play, and kept on the field most of the game thanks to our offense, but they never quit, and always played 100%. Did anyone notice the last couple of times PSU kneeled the ball? They still fired off the line looking to hit someone...

This defense deserves a National Championship, and I am ashamed that they wont get one...

Ive never seen 11 guys play so hard and tough together, every single play. They are what tOSU football is all about! This thread is about recognizing these guys, that are lost in the crying about the offense...

Exactly, before anyone says a word about our defense not impressing or giving up too many yards, look at all the holds that went uncalled...

They played great, and thats before you consider the ass raping they took all night that wasnt called...

The only difference I see is the Will Smith/Chris Gamble factor. We do not have a dominat DE or a shutdown corner. Kudla is doing great but doesn't have the speed that Smith has. Youboty is also doing great but I don't think he is up to Gambles level yet.

"Defense Wins Championships" of course. And, I think we have an AMAZING D. They are talented, well coached, disciplined, and INTENSE. I think they still have a great shot at making us Big Ten Champions, as well. They may have to hold teams to under 10 pts per game to give the O a chance, which I certainly think they can. Hopefully we can make some changes and take some of the pressure off them. We can't expect them to be on the field for 45 minutes a game and not give up a couple big plays.

Great game by the defense. Officiating was horrendous, even the replay booth missed obvious errors (Robinson out at the 27, spot the ball at the 29 and no review!). I know they punted but just another case of poor officiating!:(

Kudos to our defense. We have the best in college football. I was yelling at the tv all night about the holding. Even getting hosed on so many non-calls on the holding they held the opposition to ten points. I feel terrible for them. They deserve better from the other side of the football.
