I am thinking about rooting for OU next week.

On one hand, I would LOVE to see tOSU play for the NC, and a Sooner win would do everything right for the Scarlet and Grey.

OTOH, my feelings against OU are well-known, and if anybody remembers my posts from last week's Texas Tech game...

I will make a decision by Sunday evening.

I can't believe its taken me this long to add him to the ignore list.

BTW when I went to ding him I left it on positive(haven't had my coffee yet) someone else ding him for me please.

Guys, I am afraid the Big 12 will ask OU to lose to make Mizzou in NC game. Which bowl OU will end up if they lose in B12 championship?

I think this is a horrible theory. If the B12 officials asked me to lose a game to better the conferance, I would spit in their eye, pee in their faces, and poop on their door-step.

That's a bad theory, more than likely what will happen is the Sooners will win the Big12, and the coaches will all try to vote Kansas as #2 since they will be a 1 loss team. Normally I wouldn't be too concerned with this, but with the Big10 having a coach in it who will more than likely vote a non-Big10 team as #2 it could be a concern.

I don't see any coach, especially Bob Stoops, throwing a game to send an inferior team to the National Title game.

If that theory were actually viable the SEC would have found a way to not let LSU lose that second game. If the SEC can't cheat enough to pull something off the B12 sure as hell isn't going to do it.

With those two steps of logic I'm not worried about it. OU's pass defense is what worries me.

What the hell is it with all these conspiracy theories recently?

As for the Sooners Bowl line-up, that depends on how the loser in the Big 12 Championship game is rated. With a win it is of course BCS (Fiesta) for the Sooners. With a loss then if they are counted as Big 12 number 2 as Championship game runner-up then they go to the Cotton Bowl. If they are counted as number 3 then the Gator Bowl is a possibility.

Besides, as far as the Big12 is concerned, the best thing that could happen to them happened last night. They have a 1-Loss Kansas game who will be in the top 8, getting them at at large bid where they will more than likely go play Hawaii in the Fiesta Bowl, as well as their Conference champ getting the conference bid. More money for the conference.
