Wow, epic back-peddling there.

You can say you won't want to root for them because you hate them, but you will for the love of the Buckeyes and that is fine. I promise you the majority of the people here are not happy about rooting for Choklahoma, but they will for the love of the Scarlet and Gray. Plain and simple.

Exactly, sometimes you gotta do things you don't like, similiar to how people in Kentucky have to bang the ugly sister before the big games, they may not like to do it, but if it brings your team some luck...

That is about the stupidest fucking thing I have ever read. Like anyone would ask a bunch of kids who are playing for the love of the game and have played so hard and given so much to get where they are now, to just go out and throw the game. Get off my fucking internets!!

I was just out on this website and I got this posted back at me in a thread discussing the merits of not playing a conference championship game...I thought I'd share...

A school can end up playing bad schools because you schedule that far out but at least OU's weak sisters had been to bowl games. The teams I just mentioned for tOSU never will be will be playing in Bowl Games. I grew up in Ohio and they never would have done that under past coaches but Tressel doesn't fit the mold of tOSU coaches. In fact, he cheats and turns a blind eye as long as they can win. I know a lot of people that are Buckeye fans but cannot stand Tressel and some of the thugs he recruits. But having Herbie as their homer on ABC/ESPN covers up a lot of what goes on at tOSU as he not only hypes them but calls their games.
