Hop on that SOONER SCHOONER!

I'm not a sooner lover, but tell me what would piss off the SEC worse than a WV/OSU "Big Least/Big11" as they would say. I want to make the SEC Suffer through a year of bitching and crying about how tough, boo hoo, strength of schedule, waahh.

Let's go SEC, to the pain bitches

Relax there tiger I was simply asking if anyone was buying any of their gear to be funny. I think it would be funny to put their fight song on a mix CD while Im tailgating down in Louisiana.

You know what would be even funnier?!?!?!?!?! If you went out and got a horse and wagon, you know, like.....like the one in the Sooner logo, and drove that around this week blasting your mix CD from it!!!!! Remember to send pics!!! :roll1:

Even though you were being sarcastic, that does sound funny.

Hey, it doesn't matter what t-shirt you wear. But if you change your signature and avatar on an internet message board to display images/paraphanelia depicting support for a team that is not your own, you are seriously compromising the integrity of your fanhood. Which is why I chose to stay true to my people.

I'm Rocketman and I approve this message.

In the spirit of this weekend, I would just like to state the following items:
  1. Barry Switzer was a highly misunderstood individual who 'til the day he left Norman was a molder of scholar-athletes, civic virtue, playing by the rules and putting the reputation of his university above any football considerations.
  2. Charles Thompson was framed. This young scholar-athlete conducted himself with nothing but virtue and dignity.
  3. Brian Bosworth was class incarnate. This self-effacing, humble young man made me proud to be a college football fan.
  4. Wilkinson Hall represented everything right, noble and decent in college football. It was a place where bright young men could get away from the football field for quiet study, thoughtful reflection and occasional discussions of the inherent humanity in Thucydides work.

I'll have to admit - I thought the odds were against Brian Bosworth and Thucydides ever being mentioned in the same post.

Are You Joking Me????

Did you all read what Schlabach had to say about the Bucks this week?

"If Ohio State fans want to avoid an upset stomach, they might not want to root too hard for Oklahoma to beat No. 2 Kansas or No. 4 Missouri in next week's Big 12 Championship Game in San Antonio. The No. 5 Buckeyes should really save themselves from being embarrassed for the second season in a row. The Buckeyes' national title hopes seemed lost when they fell to Illinois 28-21 on Nov. 10. Then Oregon, Oklahoma and finally LSU lost while the Buckeyes watched. But Ohio State's chances of winning the BCS title are still fleeting, at best. Even if the Buckeyes use the back door to the Louisiana Superdome by finishing in the top two of the final BCS standings, they don't stand a chance against West Virginia. After Florida ran up and down the field against a better Ohio State team in a 41-14 win in the 2006 BCS Championship Game, the Mountaineers might actually lap the Buckeyes on the Bayou. The Mountaineers are really that fast."

However...while this pissed me off (so much that I wrote ESPiN in a FIT OF RAGE), I think this only makes "the chip" on the shoulders that much bigger.
