Let's jump to the best part. Gotta love the old PU bastard mouthing off at Jenkins after the TD (1:38). :biggrin:

Interesting how wide open Gamble was also! Even more than Jenkins, but a tougher angle for a completion. And Jenkins was grabbed at least once in his route and no call of course. :shake:

But you should have heard the Purdue fans scream about Jenkins' "push off"...

Is it really pushing off when you are being held for 20 yards of a 36 yard route?

Which tells me the ref did the right thing. The hold wasn't a tackle and the nudge wasn't a shove. I'm glad nothing was called given that neither possible call changed the outcome of the play.

Unfortunately in the Miami game, Porter had to make the call because Sharp's foul did change the outcome. What sucks is it has given idiots a rallying cry for 6 years. Then again, it has been kinda humorous watching them whine, at times. :biggrin:

That play is why Miami is where it is, and we are where we are. Six years later, they can't let go. The fans, the coaches, the players; the whole fucking program ceased being DaU on that play and they became a run of the mill, glorified mid major ever since.

I think Chad Johnson is brining it back though.

Holy Buckeye is the nickname given to one of the most famous plays in the history of Ohio State football. It occurred in a late-regular season game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Purdue Boilermakers at Ross–Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana, on November 9, 2002.

Posting this one day late;

but....it really doesn't seem like it was 21 years ago.
