This play will always be my favorite. I was lucky enough to attend the Purdue game and experienced it in person. The whole game we were just getting tormented from all of the Purdue fans. Nothing better than seeing those arms go up in the air and catch the ball. You can actually see me and my friend under Jenkin's arms. We were standing right beside a guy in a orange VaTech shirt. Ha...so awesome. :osu:

Amazing... I have to say out of all the coaches we've had in my life Tress was my favorite.

I think that's why Day is so highly regarded. He reminds me so much of a blend of Tress an UFM. Calm, very approachable, and players love him which reminds me of Tress. Also tenacious, innovative, and a good motivator like UFM.

I have to say we really have been spoiled with Tress, UFM, and now Day.

great to see Craig and Jenkins too...

The Holy Buckeye was the single most concentrated moment of pure joy in my life other than my kids being born. No perhaps about it.

Still gives me chills. Sad thing is, I didn't see it live because we were moving that day. I flicked on my TV once we got settled and the first thing I heard was a teaser about a big upset in college football, and I was about to lose my mind (ND had been upset by somebody that day). Once I saw the replay I was calm for the rest of the season because I knew it was our year.

1985 win over Iowa was perhaps my most emotionally satisfying game as a Buckeye fan.

Definitely the most pure moment of joy for me considering I was there with my dad for the first road game I've ever been to. Ball sailed into Jenkins' hands literally right in front of us, we were in the front row right where the catch happened. Ball was in the air and the stands rang with "OH SHIT"s, then immediately followed by Buckeye fans wrestling each other to the ground in elation. Probably my favorite part was the announcer that was all energetic the whole game, then gave out a delayed "touchdown... Jenkins".

It's like when you hear the 4th movement of Beethoven's 9th symphony (Ode to Joy). IMO, the closest a human has ever come to capturing what it might feel like to ascend into heaven (assuming there is one).

Well, for me, that is the 4th Quarter of Tressel's '02 Symphony. Commonly referred to as "Holy Buckeye".
