He started with Platoon and Wall Street. Those are 2 good movies, it's just a shame that they allowed him to make the turds he has since.

Stone's other two projects in production are "Escobar" - the "true" (just imagine what is to Ollie) story of Pablo Escobar and "Pinkville" about the Mai Lai massacre.

It's been rumored for a while but now it's official: Darren Aronofsky (The Fountain, Requiem for a Dream) will direct a new installment of Robocop for MGM. David Self (Road to Perdition, Thirteen Days) will write the screenplay. It's a happy day for everyone who saw the original and thought, "I really like this, but I think it could use some split screens and gimmicky montage editing."
