Network TV only has a few good shows -- Boston Legal (sadly ending this year bc no one watches it), Chuck, and Pushing Daisies (also in trouble due to ratings).

The Office is still ok, but not nearly as good as the first two seasons.

Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother are my shows that I watch now. With 2 and a Half Men in there sometimes as well.

Premise aside, everything about S2 was muddled & drug along.
I personally thought that Season 2's pacing was very comparable to the pacing found during the first half of Season 1. Season 2 was supposed to have 3 volumes: Generations, Exodus, and Villains. Originally, Peter wasn't supposed to catch that vial with the Shanti Virus. Exodus was supposed to be about Odessa as Ground Zero with a major quarantine, tanks, and helicopters.

Since Kring is just trying to catch up with Volume 3, I'm giving Heroes a free pass this time around. If Volume 4 is as bad as Volume 3, I'm done.

I'm out.

I have not seen Heroes or The Sarah Conner Chronicles the last two weeks and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I am down to exactly zero network television show that I watch with any regularity and I feel like a big turd shaped weight has been lifted off of my chest.

Terminator is actually pretty good this year. Well except for the whole Shirley Manson and her eleventy billion pounds of makeup.

I like Life on Mars, but then I never saw the BBC version.

I get the feeling that 24 is going to megasuck this year but will probably watch anyway.

Non network television is pretty good right now.

I am enjoying Primeval on BBC America.
I really like Burn Notice. (gotta love a show with Bruce freaking Campbell)
and I am very much looking forward to the ending of Battlestar Galactica.

that is about all I can take.

Chuck, How I Met Your Mother, Family Guy, and Life are the network shows that I look forward to most every week. I like Fringe, Sarah Connor, Life on Mars, and 30 Rock as well. I'm still watching Heroes, Knight Rider (don't know why), The Unit, My Own Worst Enemy, American Dad, Dirty Sexy Money, and Earl although I would be ok if any of those shows went away. I'm hoping Lost comes back strong.

I like T:TSCC but Sarah Connor just ain't Sarah Connor unless it's Linda Hamilton in T2.

Her growth from the first film to the second was perfect.

I like Life on Mars, but then I never saw the BBC version.

The original is brilliant but the second half becomes more & more depressing until the final episode.

I don't think the US version will track quite that closely to the source (although it's done a good job so far) since they want it to go five seasons (the magic syndication number) and the original story arc was finalized in a single one (well actually 2, but British seasons/series = 8 episodes vs 20+ for the US).

Heroes Producers Said to Have Been Fired
Published: November 3, 2008

The once-soaring superhero drama ?Heroes? continues to come crashing back to earth. Two of the show?s co-executive producers, Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb, have been fired from the series, Variety reported. ?Heroes,? the comic-book adventure created by Tim Kring, was a bright spot on NBC?s schedule when it made its debut in 2006, but its second season was cut short by the writers? strike. This year the show promised a return to the streamlined storytelling that made its first season a hit, but it has been plagued by convoluted plotlines, and its ratings have declined. Mr. Loeb, a longtime comic-book writer and a producer of the television shows ?Smallville? and ?Lost,? and Mr. Alexander, a producer of ?Lost? and ?Alias,? had been with ?Heroes? since its first season.

I loved last night's episode. I'm sure the die-hard Heroes "geek" found a bunch of holes in the story line trying to tie season one together with what's since been happening, but over-all I think they did a pretty good job.

I thought they made Linderman look like a complete pansy last night though...and if they took Hiro's ability away for the rest of the year just to close the "time-travel" loophole somewhat, I'll be a bit pissed. What the hell is he going to do now?

I thought Elle was a lot hotter last night showing some semblance of a soul than the impish witch we'd come to know in season past.

Though it's still not captured my attention the way Season 1 did, I'm starting to like the show more and more as it progresses. Looking forward to next week.

I had the opposite feeling of you. I thought last night's show sucked. They keep jumping around from 2 years ago, 5 years in the future, the present, a year ago, last week, tomorrow etc that it gets too damn confusing.

I actually stopped watching the show on Monday about 20 minutes in, and I don't think I'll tune back in. It sucks, because Season 1 was good.

Yeah, season 1 the wife and I were glued to the TV, we've taken it off of our Tivo this year and just decided it's not worth watching at all.

It sounds like the head writer for season 1 is going to come back. The two guys they hired to replace him got fired. As soon as Pushing Daisy's gets cancelled he's back on the Hero's payroll. Might get better then...
