Help Please

My computer keeps rebooting when ever I hold down an arrow key. WTF? How can I fix this? It's annoying as hell. I'll give v$5000 to anyone who can help me fix this.

Never heard of it before.

Try a new keyboard so you can diagnose the issue being the actual keyboard or default windows driver or something else.

I'll try borrowing my buddies tommorow. It seems it's pressing any two arrow keys at the same time that does it or when my girlfriend gets on here who types super fast it reboots on her.

edit - or if I just mash a bunch of keys.

Hmmm... do you still have the problem when you use a sledgehammer on it?

How about pouring water on the keyboard?

Slamming it against the wall?

Just want to make sure you've been thorough in the testing process. :p

No solutions here, but seeing if it happens in safe mode might narrow things down.

I figured it out. It was a damn key logger I've had on my computer for like 2 years. Uninstalled it and now I can mash away.

Ahhh damn got to this one too late, I coulda told you a keylogger would be causing it. When you do that, it will cause any key logger to completely freak out and either crash, or reboot the machine.
