Helmet - Paint - Stripes - Color Matching

Silver Paint Used?

Exactly what SILVER paint did you use on this? I have a small bathroom that I want to do the same thing with and would rather used this silver metalic than the gray...then paint the stripe and add a couple buckeye leaf fatheads...

Here is mine. Lt and I won't ever share another office so it doesn't matter if they are painted the same.

Here are two photos of the front. The back looks the same as the other one. Sorry the photos are kind of crappy, but they are in the kitchen w/fluorescent lighting.

Need Help with a Buckeye helmet?

Not sure if this is the right forum but I will ask anyways. I am looking for the model/paint# for the silver used on the Buckeye helmet. I am painting a catchers mask to look like the helmet and want to use the exact color. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and

If you can get a picture of the helmet or purchase a mini helmet I am pretty sure that most paint stores can match the color fairly close once they have something to compare it with. Try Home Depot or Lowes....

I suspect you'll need specifics about the metal flake used in the helmet paint to get a truly accurate reproduction.

Looks like painting a room - just going off of the HEX - 990000 is NOT the Ohio State Red on the field or jersey.

Buckeye Helmet Stripe Dimensions

I am working on painting a driving helmet and I am looking for the dimensions of the stripes.

If anyone has a fullsize Buckeye football helmet, could you kindly measure the width of the stripes for each color. I did a search on this forum and the only information I have found is the approximate ratio bewteen the stripes, however, I am looking for the exact dimensions for each stripe color (red, white, and black).
