A Florida man said he was horrified when he learned a cockroach had burrowed itself in his ear and laid an egg.

Blake Collins, 25, of Tallahassee, told the Tallahassee Democrat the apartment he lived in with his husband was infested with cockroaches.

“They're crawling on our bed sheets, they're crawling on our mattress,” Collins said.

Collins said he has seen the critters crawl out of light bulb sockets and even show up in his dog’s food bowl. He recalled one time when he stayed up one night to pick the creatures off his husband as he slept while recovering from surgery.

“A roach was burrowing inside of my head,” he recalled “I could hear his legs inside me. It felt like someone was shoving a Q-tip all the way inside my head and there was nothing I could do to stop it."

Collins said he went to the hospital immediately where the doctor poured lidocaine into his ear which killed the pesky critter. The doctor found the roach had also laid an egg in his ear as well.

"I heard it die in my head," Collins said. "When he poured the lidocaine in, I could feel him go super, super fast, kicking and try to dig its way out, and a faint little squeal and then two minutes later, it just stopped and he died."

Georgia woman strangles, kills rabid bobcat after it attacks her: 'It came for my face'



DeDe Phillips, of Hart County, was taking a picture of a new bumper sticker that she placed on her truck when she heard the neighbor’s dog frantically begin to bark. When she looked around, she saw a bobcat just steps away. The feline then “took two steps and was on top of me. ... It came for my face,” Phillips, 46, told the Athens Banner-Herald.

“It caught me slightly on my face, but I got him before he could do much damage there. I took it straight to the ground and started inching my hands up to its throat. I knew that was the only way I was getting out of this,” she recalled................................
“Thank God I am not a little woman,“ she said.“

Lesson to all bobcats; there are softer targets than large women in the rural south, standing outside taking pictures of the new bumper sticker they put on their truck.

Only question unanswered by the article is if she put her cigarette out or if she still had it dangling from her lip when she choked the life out of that dumbass animal.

Police: Providence man in custody after biting off a piece of husband’s nose during argument

Providence police took a man into custody Tuesday night after his husband reported that he bit his nose in an argument and spit a piece onto the floor.

Officers responded to a Cranston Street apartment and found the victim outside with an injury to the right side off his nose, police said. The victim told police that during an argument, his husband, identified as 51-year-old Squire Felder Jr., “became angry and aggressively bit his nose, spitting a piece of the nose onto the floor,” police said.

Several officers knocked on the door of the apartment, brandishing Tasers and taking Felder into custody, police said. He was taken to Central Station without further incident, police said.

One of the officers found a piece of the nose and brought it to first-responders outside. The victim wasn’t able to give a witness statement or complete a domestic violence survivor assessment because he needed immediate medical attention at Rhode Island Hospital, police said.

A man is accused of biting off an NYPD police officer's finger and swallowing it as he was being arrested for vandalism.

Ainsley Johnson, 34, allegedly chewed off part of the officer's left middle finger inside a Brooklyn police station on Friday night.

The incident unfolded when Johnson got into a fight with the 24-year-old officer as he tried to handcuff him on criminal mischief charges.
