Finebaum's act is incredibly old and tiring (supreme SEC shill). Ohio State coulda returned every starter from a national title team and he'd still be assuring Texas is definitely better and will easily win in Columbus.

But being a personality is what pays the bills. That is the era we are in, being a WWE character makes more than actually reporting actual sports. There must always be an angle now, whether: conference loyalty, chosen team/alum, goofy type, race, etc. It sucks, but saying outlandish crap gets you paid. Especially when saying it towards one of the biggest brands in college sports.

I like Finebaum more often than not, but he operates under the assumption that his opinion is somehow more than just an opinion and somehow matters. IF, and I think it's a much bigger if than most, the fighting sarks win, it certainly won't have anything to do with Paul Finebaum.
