Not sure why they are getting such odds. Even if the offense and defense perform (and the offense is a big if after watching Saturdays game plan) odds are special teams gets us eliminated along the way. And that’s directly on Day as well.

Georgia plays competent football about 30% of the contest. It took them forty seven tries... and tremendous amounts of favorable officiating, to put away GT.
Penn State, Ohio State & Indiana would get housed by big ten championship teams from the past, yet all of them are right near the top of the league this year.
Tennessee? Clemson? Bama? Some of them will back into the playoffs without any real consistency to justify it.
BYU? Miami? SMU? Boise? Hardly rare air.
