The meet is one hour away. I'm sure I won't miss more then the first quarter, but I don't want to miss a second of pre-game even. Also I wa shoping to make the drive of 45 minutes to go to the Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game.

Not sure how your AD operates, but such early notice usually makes it easy to switch a game/meet/match.
We switched two baseball games last year to attend the WVU football clinic...just had to get ot done early.
