My three year old ended up getting five staples in the back of his head this weekend. I've never had stitches and when I tell people such they never believe me.

Went back for round two the other night. Did you know launching pea gravel off a see-saw is not a good idea? Three year olds do not. A few internal and a handful of external stitches later in the eyebrow and we are good to go. Thankfully the boys made friends with the nurses at the ER as I am sure we will be there frequently.

I had stitches in my bottom lip. I had 4 stitches on my head right at the partline, the bump is still there.

i had stitches on the top of my head. i ran into an opened door fence haha. i was 6 though.

I got 5 stitches from a 6 month old Chow puppy! I had 3 on my top part of my arm & under one for each fang mark! Kinda looked like dracula got me,I still have the scars! They gave me percocet! My arm was black & blue from my wrist to my elbow & man did it hurt.
Then 4 years ago I went to pick up a piece of glass & it bit me on my index finger by my cuticle & good for 2 stitches!

I had stitches under my tongue.:p The only other time was for football last year when i busted a gash in my arm going for an interception in our scrimmage on my teammates facemask.

I have had many stitches....most notably when my older brother watched a magician pull a tablecloth out from under a table full of dishes on TV when I was about 5. Wanting to try this activity, but not wanting to get into trouble for breaking our mother's dishes, he decided a suitable substitute was needed. Evidently that was me. As I'm sure you can figure out, bare human feet do not allow the tablecloth (or bed sheet, as it were) to slide quite as well as dishes do. I think it was about 10 or 12 stitches....don't remember that part all that well....I had a pretty bad headache.
