It sounds like it will be a good idea to have some friends around, and there's a truckload in here, so please hang out when you can and let us know what's going on. My absolute best wishes for a very, very successful surgery. Could we maybe get a way to check in with you since it sounds like you'll be off BP for a while?

Certainly looking forward to little Paulie (or Paula) Forem Muckspawn's arrival. :)

When acquaintances come up to you and say "Hey Muck - what's up?", the fact that your brain does not simply explode is a credit to you. :p

Keep well, give 'em Hell, and please, please, please arrange in advance for DVD's of the funniest movies you and your friends can think of to be ready for your post surgery viewing. Seriously buddy! Watch them them with those you love from when you wake up to when you go back to sleep. It's good medicine for both the body and the soul.

And while it may seem like it is hard, I have to urge you to make a video for your son or daughter of you talking about your memories of your parents and grandparents. Nothing too fancy, and don't worry about the subject, just what your best or most poignant memories of them are.

You are gonna really enjoy it when you watch it with your kid ten years from now. :)
