it didn't help that she thinks I'm a scum bag to begin with (mainly due to her tons of chunk friend)...maybe one day they'll invent real time dvr, that way I could have pulled a Zach Morris time-out, moved her out of the way, and put that fat bitch friend of hers who hates me even more in her place...then I wouldn't have felt so bad.

Not only do I watch recorded shows, but I have mastered the art of the "swap" button.

What you do, is you get 2 shows going at the same times, using the swap button to go in between them. While one is on commercial, you watch the other, while the other builds up "gap time" between live and where you are. After awhile, especially if you stay on one particular channel, you have enough gap time to be able to watch both of the shows, without any commercials. This works pretty well with football games, because you can watch 2 games, not miss anything, and not have to watch commercials / timeouts.

Just make sure you don't talk to anyone, but even then you're usually only like 20 minutes behind.
