Has Any QB Played Ohio State in a Season and Gone on to win the Heisman?

What about Drew Brees?
Drew Brees wasn't seriously considered a Heisman candidate, but Purdue did lose to the Bucks at the Shoe in '99. Brees led Purdue to a win in '00 in West Lafayette with a game winning 65-yard pass ... that touchdown call was the seed for 'Holy Buckeye' two years later.

Brent Musburger's call: 'Brees to Morales ... Touchdown Purdue! Holy Toledo!"

October 29th 2011: The Ohio State University football team will face the Wisconsin Badgers and their Heisman candidate QB. According to the great Heisman prognosticator Joe Tessitore Mr. Russell Wilson is currently the leading candidate to win the trophy annually awarded to the player deemed the most outstanding player in college football. It's time to officially welcome Russell Wilson to the Big Ten and to Columbus, Ohio...where Heisman hopefuls come to die.

Pay it forward.
