Only some of them are bad, others are rather tasty. They come in a little pouch and I have to admit that it's pretty fun passing the pouch around, reaching in and having to eat whatever flavor you pull out. Off the top of my head some of the flavors are popcorn, lemon, grass, dirt, soap, sardine, earthworm, puke, earwax, and spaghetti.

I've had them. My cousins are potter addicts (I enjoy the books, but I'd believe it if they told me they went around running into brick columns trying to hitch a ride on their magical train).
I like them. Hardly something you would rave about at work the next day, but they are a good way to pass the time on a long car ride.

I had a bag once as a "gag gift"; the Spaghetti tastes just like spaghetti and Soap tastes like it should make bubbles in your mouth. My friend dared me to just grab one and eat it without checking first, and I came out with a sardine flavored one; I got through MAYBE two chews and I had to spit it out. BLLECH.
I don't exactly think the purpose of them is to actually EAT them... but they're unique nonetheless.

i can verify that vomit is accurate. friend of mine (and i use the term VERY loosely) handed me a jelly bean and said, "this is a new flavor, try it". i owe him dearly...
