Got to make dinner for the family and watch The Walking Dead for a couple hours with the kiddo. She started watching this year when she picked up season 1 at half-priced books or something. Raved about season 1. Told her it's all downhill from here. Didn't believe me.
After she got thru a couple more seasons, she finally saw what I was saying so now we watch together and I point out all the ridiculous shit like I used to in the thread here. We have a good laugh every episode. Besides the last 4 seasons of GoT, I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in television.

went on a fishing trip with my dad and my son this weekend, didn't catch many fish, but drank like a fish and ate like kings. came home yesterday and our neighborhood axe throwing league started back up, so we threw axes and hung out, great fathers day weekend. Even managed to sneak in 9 holes after lunch

my dad passed away on June 8th (lost his battle with Parkinson’s).
so this was my first father’s day without him.
nothing can really prepare you for that.
