Happy ending for Da'Juan Morgan

And so what if they did? Maybe they had information that you don't. You automatically assume that they did it for some evil underhanded reason...because you're you.

It's not very often that the President of the entire University apologizes for some recruiting snafu. Yeah, I'm sure it was all a simple mixup. :roll1:

Kind of Ironic.

On the same night that a good kid who truly wanted to be a Buckeye got to cry with his mother over a great victory, a bad kid who was never really sure if he wanted to be A Buckeye probably cried with his mother over his revoked scholarship and impending jail sentence.

Good for Morgan. As a proud graduate of Ohio State and rabid Buckeye football fan, at least I can distance myself enough to say that Ohio State was in the wrong in this situation. I can only begin to imagine the politics that play into an NFL factory the magnitude of Ohio State, and hope that they never pull this kind of bullshit again.

While I have no reason to doubt the integrity of Jim Tressel, I also have no reason to disbelieve the shock that Morgan said he felt when his scholarship offer was pulled. If you're going to pull someone's scholly, do it earlier in the process so the player doesn't have to accept the first major D-1 offer that comes in. Good luck at NC State, Mr. Morgan! (and don't rob anyone).

You're wrong. Irizarry was probably crying on the shoulder of Bubba at the Frankin County Jail.

Hey, this is great! Now you know what we feel like when reading 99% of your posts.

I guess that the 1% of my posts that isn't "mindless drivel" is contained in this thread since I'm probably right that JT was the one responsible for screwing Morgan.

Thank you, come again.
