On this day one year ago, I was sitting here hoping the latest hurricane didn't knock our power out. Happy to report that's not a concern this year.
By this time next month, I'll be a resident of the greater Columbus area again, so shouldn't be a concern next year either. :)
No candles on the cake. I always said that when I got to the point where there had to be a 'system' for candles (for example; "the reds represent decades, the white years") that I'd just pass on them. Although if I see 50, I'd just like to see the frosted inferno that would make with all of them on there.
