Dude with a cart over by Hamilton Hall on Neal. I ate there everyday when I poured the sidewalk in front of that place. Here in Newark/Heath, there's a little place in a strip mall on 30th St. called Greek Eats. It's fucking great.

Back in the late 90's it was Greek Village on old south campus. Had to say 'yee-ro' or get blessed out and sent to the back of the line. I went to their new location last time I was in Cbus...not worth the drive and didn't live up to the memories.

Apollo's was a few doors down...also good, but not as good...but they delivered.

Extra feta, no onions please.

Not in OH, but I miss my favorite gyro place - super yummy and ya gotta have the onions.

The young chef running it, right out of culinary school, would make up some goodies to bring to the local shelter at closing time, and organized other restaurants in the area to do the same thing, telling them he'd do the delivery. I'd go in late and he'd be cooking up a storm as though the place were at capacity. Great food, great people... need more of those places.

Nazareth Restaurant & Deli

Fantastic Gyro and the owner is always walking around talking to the patrons. I really miss this place.

Beat me to it. I absolutely love that place. Great food and well-priced. The owner also carries around a baseball bat asking if there are any complaints.

They recently moved across 161 to the old Chili's building there in Northland plaza. And they are open on Sundays now.

The best ones are the ones downtown outside the bars. When I get them, they taste like the greatest food of all time.

Not so sure how good they are sober.

They are still good sober. Those are the same carts from all over the place during the day. Different dudes work different shifts. Not sure how authentic they are, but they're fuckin' good.
