you are delusional. the point is the bar NEVER HITS THE GROUND since it lays on a rack.
:slappy:

jeff, don't you get it? i asked if you ever dropped the barbell while doing military presses. you responded that you don't use dumb bells but instead used the "bench bar." still don't get it?

the bar "never hits the ground since it lays on a rack"? umm... do you even know what a military press is?

congrats, dgad. i can't believe you found a picture of jeffcat!

So what is the norm to work out in? Since you seem to be the expert. Do they hand you a little clipboard when you walk into the gym so you can rate everyones outfits?

lol. You do that. Look I am sure that people look at you, and you look at people, but you seemed a little obsessed.

And if you have that much trouble telling men apart from women then you have much more problems that we all thought

i would say the norm would be t shirts/cut offs/shorts/workout pants/compression shirts. i would say that would account for 99% of the people right there. what is your norm? i don't find abercrombie and fitch to be in the norm since i have seen it only once.

.....or just the fact that they make it so blatantly obvious as to what they are doing

well how do you know? do you have telepathic abilities? i dunno, most normal human beings use eyesight to determine if it is a girl or a guy from a distance but hey thats just me.

Well you werre the one bitching about people being out of shape at the gym. Care to explain?

where? i dare you to quote me where i was bitching about out shape people being in a gym. they have every right that everybody else has. i only have a pet peeve on the ones that are not devoted and/or pretend to be and also wear athletic apparel and tight clothing even though they are obese.

So how do they make it obvious? Do they yell out......"Hey everyone....I'm going to work out wearing this cool A&F pink polo shirt, with my way cool cargo shorts" just trying to figure out why it is "blatantly obvious" as if they got out of bed with teh intent of going to the gym to work out in A & F stuff just to piss you off.

Yup I see with my eyes. but I tend not to stare people down like it seems you do.

So what you're saying is you think it's impolite for people to wear clothes that show off too much of their physique?

1-stupid asses (usually middle age moms...no offense) that use the bench press to do 30 minutes of crappy 10 lb. dumbell work. uh...the flat utility bench will work just fine for you sweeheart.

2-the stupid he man that is repping 3x the weight he should be...and doing it with form that makes chiropractors very wealthy...this is typically the dork that preens in the mirrors between sets. the same guy who picks his nose next to you at the stoplight...as if you can't see through his car windows.

3-i don't know if this happens on the women's side...but the guy who is wayyyy to comfortable walking around the lockeroom naked. dude...don't even think you are going to strike up a conversation with me when you are naked. and your dad should be taken behind the woodshed for not teaching you this man fact before you were 10...

i wouldn't agree with that. hell i see carp and datish come in from time to time. i am not the most athletic nor am i strongest one there(usually ever), but i am more athletic than strong unlike meatheads like the body builders. i go for functionality more than appearance. i guess to be modest the main point is most people there are out of shape, overweight, etc.

Guess I took this qoute the wrong way you weren't saying you hate fat people at the gym. You were just stoking your own self importance by saying you are in good shape

Good one Grad -

Repeat after me - I will take off ALL the weight I used and will place it in the correct area. Maybe it is my OCD kicking in, but I can not stand seeing a tree with 45, 45, 25, 45, 10, 25 or any other f'ed up combination.
