this also kind of bothers me. its a gym not a fashion show. why the hell are you wearing designer clothes for one in a gym and secondly why would you blow money on them and then where them to the gym. completely goes along with me talking about the male ego.

Right...like those guys who blow a bunch of money on under armor and stuff....I mean your just going to work out, not show off.

Here's another, wieghtlifter guy, you know, the guy who comes in with huge arms, fake tan, no legs, the razor wire tattoo around their biceps, tons of cologne, and the huge ipod who is in the gym for about an hour and a half but actually only does about 5 minutes of true lifting.

The other hour 25 is spent walking back and forth, messing with his Ipod, talking to his buddies, and constantly looking at himself in the mirror from different angles.

Your post would have a degree of validity if your fat ass ever saw the inside of a gym...and I don't have an IPod or wear cologne.

esp when they are worried more about watching what everyone else is doing rather than just working out :)

i try to avoid them but it becomes obvious that they go out of their way to make theirself noticed just to be douchebags. if i had my own gym in columbus i would use it.

well maybe some of us like to wear comfortable workout clothes:roll2: i guess the guys that buy their own belts or squat pads are also douchebags. i bought compression shorts and a compression T from nike and since you mentioned it yes i still have my cold gear under armor from when i played football. wow what a crime. maybe i should go tell gholston that you are calling him out on such a stupid notion as well since he does the same thing.:slappy:

You brought it up, talking about wearing designer shit to the gym. I mean is it that hard to just wear shorts and a tshirt to work out in?

The perk of wearing Under Armor (if you can fit into it without offending others) is that you don't feel soaked in wet fabric while working out. There is a reason why athletes wear it to train in and during games. Nothing wrong with it.

so let me get this straight?.......you are viewing the idea of wearing nike/under armour to a gym equally as stupid as somebody wearing abercrombie and fitch in a gym?

Maybe their gaydar detects something about you. After all, you're usually one of the strongest, fastest there.

i wouldn't agree with that. hell i see carp and datish come in from time to time. i am not the most athletic nor am i strongest one there(usually ever), but i am more athletic than strong unlike meatheads like the body builders. i go for functionality more than appearance. i guess to be modest the main point is most people there are out of shape, overweight, etc.
