Yep, you caught me. Secret "scum" fan here (I love when people use childish ways to poke fun of their rivals like UM fans use "O$U," but especially so when they're old and shit) and believer that Harbaugh is a God. You know, because I think he's going to RECRUIT WELL. I've literally said zero things about Harbaugh the coach, only that he will RECRUIT WELL. Yep, just resort to posts like this when no one else here is in agreement with you on Harbaugh. You didn't say he will "recruit well", you said, quote: "I guarantee you his recruiting class is going to be top 10 next year unless they have another one of these 15 man classes. But if it's closer to 25 it will be top 10." Huge difference. You then went on to make the Einsteinian statement, "A top 20 class at Stanford is like a top 5 class at UM." Oh, is that right? Well, let's look at Rivals' rankings in the last nine recruiting cycles, starting from Harbaugh's first year at Stanford:Yep, you caught me. Other than 2013, the only other times where your statement is true is 2007 and 2008, when the Great Recruiter Gym Hardblob himself was at Stanford. Now, 2009 was close to your 20-5 comparison (another Hardblob year), but still not on target. Stanford was close in 2010 and virtually tied in 2011, and actually out-recruited Michigan three times (2012, 2014, and 2015). So, go on and keep pulling blanket statements out of thin air...

Firstly, you're reading way too much into my use of the word "well." Would "very well" work better or you? Top 10 classes at a place like UM should be considered more of the norm than the exception. Hence me not saying "he's gonna wreck shit Man!" And yes, very convenient that going back to Harbaughs days at Stanford coincides with some of the darkest days UM has seen the past 50 years. Maybe if we go back even a little bit further we'll capture some of UM's recruiting ability BRR (Before Rich Rod):

Admittedly you'd like to have the same number of years for both, but I saw a website for UM's classes but not Stanford, so there is room for error (although if I were to venture to guess it's probably not much better if at all for Stanford). Also they used Lemming for years prior to 2002 when rivals started, so if he's historically biased towards UM or something I'm not aware.
So historically a top 20 Stanford class is a top 8 UM class. My apologies for the gross exaggeration. Additionally, over the course of a 23 year span they've only had 2 years where they had a pretty bad class (2014) and a really bad class (2015) A) come off of very tiny classes (16 and 14 man classes respectively) and B) come off of years where recruits realized that Hoke was a shitty coach and also when they came off of a 5-7 season, fired their coach, and hired a new one from the NFL ranks with no relationships less than a month before NSD. But let me guess, I'm wrong, the Michigan of the past 2 years is the new Michigan, and Harbaugh won't be able to recruit since he was only able to recruit a couple top 25 classes (essentially) and Shaws a better recruiter (again, ignoring the fact that he fell into a better program than Harbaugh started with). Makes. Total. Sense.
