On a serious note, if this thing was going to get traction, it might be of some concern, but it's not, so ignore him.

He is just responding to the fact that Ohio State supporters are the most numerous on their page and wants to take some credit for keeping them interested.

The only relevant facts are that the kid verballed a long time ago, Tressel was hoping to help boost scholarships for other students, and if he had done so before Posey signed the LOI all kinds of questions about improper recruiting could have been raised.

[Sigh] Where did the good sports journalists go, I mean, the guys who could research a story and tell you something interesting that you didn't know?
