I nominate the 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That was a nasty defense.

I became a Tampa Bay fan in 1999/2000 after moving to the Tampa Bay area. I used to think those Cleveland Brown?s Ds with Banks, Dixon, Golic, Matthews, and Minnifield were something special until I watched TB in 02. It was like they were playing with 15 guys on the field. All of those guys were fast and hit.


With that said the 85 Bears were as lights out as I have seen.

I'll go with the 85' Bears. No one can run the 46 defense like Buddy Ryan.

i got to go with the 1977 Atlanta Falcons.

yes they only played in 14 games but they only allowed 9.21 points per game, the best in the History of the NFL.
