Great Local Buckeye Bars

craigblitz

Juice, Full of Juice!!
I did a search but did not see anything related to my specific question so...

What are you favorite local bars to watch Buckeye Football? I love going to new places and checking out the local scene and want to hear what you have to say.. I know everyone will say Varsity Club, Buckeye Cafe, etc but I am looking more for your off the beat local Bar.

Here are a couple places I have been to watch the games

Pittsburgh - Fox and Hound - OK nothing special
Steubenville - Damons - Not too bad, totally hit or miss on the crowd there though. Usually where I go to watch the games
Lancaster - BW3's - Hit or miss, standard crowd
Lancaster - Coaches - Been there twice, both times were fun
St. Clairsville - BW3, it was pretty dead the last game I watched there
Zanesville - Buckeye Grill and Lounge?? - Good crowd the one time I was there. Really nice people
Toronto(Ohio) - Can not recall the place, but it was a blast. Lots of people. Great fans...
Chicago - McGees - Had a great time there all 3 times I was there
Phoneix - Hanratty's - Older crowd, but overall a good time

So lets hear it, if not at the game or in your lazy boy at home where are the best places you watch the game at?

I would love to hear a good recommendation for around the Akron area. I gotta find some place to watch the games that are on the Big Ten Network because I have shitty Warner Cable.

For the rest of you who have Time Warner Cable and are pissed off it does not carry The Big Ten Network, voice your displeasure using this link.

GET BIG TEN NETWORK

It will all work out. In today's Dispatch, people from both sides agreed. All OSU games will end up being televised.

My first experience at a "buckeye bar" was when my dad took me to hanratty's for "the slip" game vs scUM. I wonder, are there any Hanratty's regulars on the board. If so, why do you think the crowd is of the older set like craig says. Where are all the recent grads? Every other buckeye bar I've been to has an average age of 25. IIRC the "arizona buckeyes" are the 2nd biggest alumni group outside of C-Bus and do a phenomenal job at giving out scholarships to kids from the valley.
