The cheaper apartments only have 2 car garages, thats what I currently have :frown:
For bigdog: apartments are also a decent place to hideout when people are trying to chase you down, since they won't be able to enter without your permission. They can hang around outside and wait for you though, so check your map before you leave. As far as parking your car anywhere, theres actually a setting that will prevent people from jacking your car. You can set it to just you, or crew only, or friends only, etc. I typically leave it on for everyone, because it's so fun leaving the car outside an Amunation with an ignition bomb in it...and waiting for the "BOOM!" when someone tries to jack it :lol:

For Maryland: A garage can fix your car automatically if I recall. I still end up blowing cash on fixing it at Los Santos Customs myself, but your garage comes with a mechanic that can bring your car to you no matter where you are on the map! Even if your car ISN'T in your garage at the time, you can call your mechanic and he'll go bring it to you. It's a pretty nice perk.

It took some time, but I finally got the apartment:

(I put on a mask and took it off, which made my character bald. Must have been a ton of pain pulling that thing off)

Haha, glad you were able to come along man. It's too bad you didn't get to run with us all night. We ran that mission for several hours. I hit Rank 51 and I've got $380,000. I also modded up all the weapons I've got, and finished the touches on my Coquette. Gonna buy the $400,000 apartment tonight and start filling the garage with cars until Heists get turned on.

FYI, if anyone is interested in the mission we did, it's this one and unlocks at Rank 45:


Obviously we can't Quick Restart anymore since Rockstar removed it for completed missions, but this mission is still great cash/xp for a short 50 seconds if you have 3-4 decent people rolling with you like we did last night. Blow up 4 cement trucks (Simultaneously if possible) and you're done, cha-ching!

Just read about this. I'm happy, even though losing my first two cars set me back a bit and it took me a few days to replace them so I could run my missions the way I like to. I honestly didn't expect Rockstar to do anything for people that lost stuff, especially since they've been pushing micro transactions and trying to get people to buy in game money.

I'll be running the mission again, probably around 8pm ish tonight. Anyone else on PS3 is invited (Try to unlock Sticky Bombs before hand if you can, or at least grenades). Typically I can get the mission to spawn in 5 minutes or so, but if not the contact has two other missions that also come up worth $17k and $16k and neither are terribly long (Just not as short as the 50 second mission ha).

Came home yesterday and my wife had a surprise gift for "us" for our anniversary.......thought it'd be something stupid, but nope, what does she pull out? GTA5....what a wife! I'm going to hop on tonight and play solo to get a feel and then this weekend get onto the online world, my XBOX GT is same as this, bigdog3300 - I'll look back into this thread about how to join the crew. I'll also drink two Monsters before hand so I'm properly amped.
