Gotham Classic: tOSU vs. Delaware, Wed 12/18 @ 7p ET, BTN

Breaking down the Blue Hens: Delaware has lost five of its first 10 games, but it has shown the ability to play with top-tier teams. On Nov. 22, the Blue Hens lost 84-80 at Villanova, a team currently ranked No. 8 in the AP Poll. Delaware also lost to Notre Dame 80-75 on Dec. 7 … Delaware has three starters who average at least 15 points per game in senior guard Davon Usher (18.1), junior guard Jarvis Threatt (17.6) and senior guard Kyle Anderson. Senior forward Carl Baptiste averages 11.9 points per game, which puts four of the Blue Hens’ starters in double figures with scoring averages … All that scoring doesn’t include senior Devon Saddler, who was suspended for a month and missed seven games for violating team rules. Saddler, however, averaged 19.9 points per game a year ago and scored 24 points in his return in Delaware’s 85-66 loss to North Dakota State … Last year Usher and Saddler were both in the top 50 in scoring in the nation, and Delaware was the only program in college basketball to have two players in that group … Delaware is 0-7 in games against Big Ten teams, but hasn’t faced a team from the conference since playing Ohio State in 2004 … The Blue Hens have never beaten an opponent ranked in the top 10 and are 0-16 all time in those games … Delaware averages 83 points per game.

Bucks get to the line alot but don't seem to make very many big buckets to slow a teams charge. I've noticed this a couple of times this year that they don't decide to bumrush the rim when they go cold. A couple of players do but we don't really work to get offense out of one player. All pass and dash kind of offense.

Big bucket by Smith and then a steal by Craft. Amir has to start dunking the hell out of the ball underneath.
