I got an invite to join the day Google+ came out. With time i think it could compete with Facebook just because of how many people in the world have Gmail accounts and Android phones. Last i heard, well over 200 million individuals have Gmail accounts, which is already 1/3 of what Facebook has worldwide.

For those looking for invites, they keep opening and closing invite sessions. Last i heard from Google they were going to reopen invites within the next day or two to try and double their current users.

Also, there is "hacked" way of getting people invites even when the Send Invite feature is down. This is how me and my friends get alot of people on Google+. This way will send people an email that has a link to a Google+ post, after going to the link you can press Join. After clicking that, it prompts you to log in with Google account. Some people get the error "Google+ is currently at capacity, check back later", but will try a few hours later and get in no problem.

Just sent out some invites, if I missed anyone pm me again ASAP. Or if you are still looking for an invite pm me as well.

If someone has said they sent you an invite but you never get a confirmation email try going directly to the google+ site. I still have yet to receive my invite, but I can use the site.

PM sent. I halfway figured they'd automatically place me in the Google+ trial since they've done it with some of their other stuff (I spend a lot of time in Google Labs when I can), but no such luck.

EDIT: I'm in (thanks MOBuck). Feel free to add me if you can find me, or just PM me and I'll get you to the right Michael. :lol:

Just keep visiting and refreshing the website, don't wait for the emails. One minute it wouldn't let me in, then MO sent me an invite, and the next time I refreshed it was asking me to set up my account.

I will admit that part of my desire to get into Google+ early is to see how it evolves as a possible new social outlet for business, as a part of my job. Yeah, I'm starting to turn into one of those business types that everyone despises. :lol:

Love it so far. Once you figure out some of the short cuts, etc. it's really pretty user friendly. One thing to keep in mind is that it's pretty easy for your posts to fly everywhere if you share the same group of friends as everyone else. I sent out a flow chart to those that are in my circles that is crazy
