About the FCC, the reason Howard gets nailed is because people listen to him specifically to try to get him fined. No one listens to Oprah trying to turn her in. But it is also about Politics, when the Democrats were in power they did not care about TV/Radio and concentrated on other issues. But with Republicans in power they have to listen to their nutjob religious wing and they want Howard gone. So the FCC became an extension of religious beliefs and the crackdown of Radio/TV began.

Oh, I see. Christians are the root of the problem. Get rid of them and we can finally have boobs free flowing on network primetime and the word fuck can be uttered like the word "the".

You see, when a particular political ideology gets elected into office, they generally try to govern based on that ideology. Hence the focus on indecency. Alot of those family values were put up for a vote the last election and won.

Lieberman, Gore and Hillary all have been in favor of placing restrictions on free speech for video games, music and movies... Christians arent known to be big supporters of these folks, however.
