Break a Leg ---- nah, don't

Thanks, Valvoline Mike. As a Buckeye working in A2, I can honestly tell you that I root for your team unless they are playing the Buckeyes... well, maybe when you play the sparties I'm on the fence.

I feel bad for ya, since I see Rich Rod as your John Cooper. They just don't get it.

.....and yes, fellas, I know it's not Valvoline. This is a PG board!

:wink2:

Cooper's worst years were better than anything RR has put up so far:biggrin:

hmmm. I want the B10 to do well out-of-conference. I still root against scUM all of the time in conference. When scUM plays OOC, it's a win - win situation for me. If they win, great! If they embarrass themselves completely at other times (Appalachian State), it's good for many laughs.

Thank you very much Mike. I wish you and your team an injury-free (from here on out, I guess) and "incident" free season as well. It's impossible to root for one's rival, but I look forward to you guys returning to your old selves and bringing The Game back to a national audience. But, in the mean time, I certainly don't mind stringing along a few more Ws in the series!

Additionally, and I think I speak for many, you are a very welcome presence to these boards. To quote Clarity in the How to Enjoy the Season (and how to not) on BP, 2010 Edition thread, "That brings me to fans of opposing teams. We want them here. ...Expect fans of other teams to have as much (or more) love and respect for their own programs as you do yours. Appreciate the fact that it's hard for them to be immersed in another fan base's love for their team..."

I welcome your view of the world because it is not through scarlet and gray lenses. It makes for great conversation.

But, for the cold, overcast, last Saturday in November we are enemies on the field. And may the Buckeyes rise up victoriously once again! :osu:

Injury free....I guess
Incident free.....now way. I need more incidents up there. They are so entertaining.

ugh, that's the worst thing about the last two years. At least when Cooper was losing to UM you guys were still having successful seasons.

Perhaps. But...until you go into The Game rolling towards a Big Ten title, Rose Bowl berth and possible NC with the empty pit in your stomach just knowing what's going to happen and then watching it happen just as you feared, you will not know true pain.

Exactly.

P.S. That's one reason why The Game needs to be the last regular season contest (and why they should be in the same division).
