Yeah just like that.

My buddy can't make it. He has to get some work done on his house so he will be ready to host a party for the Texas game. He figured it would cost him $28 just to drive down there and back. I pm'd ghost and told him he can play. I'll be at work until 11:30.

Do some clubs cost more to rent? I was thinking, would it be possible to just borrow a driver as needed, and then maybe rent the other clubs? Obviously i'd be borrowing from S&G or SIMV... do you guys have anything?

Once again I don't really know anything about renting clubs, but I think they have whole sets. I will check when I get to my parents house to see if we have an extra set lying around, although they would be super crappy.

That is how I hit my tap ins as I am a better pool player than a putter.

Have fun all and wish I could have made it but its not fun being groggy, light headed and dizzy and driving from Cleveland. I will try again next time.

I hope everyone had a good time on Friday. My dad was a little pissed that they didn't have any water on the course. They could have really used Oakhaven's hot beer chick.
Sorry I didn't stick around for the rest of you to finish, but we waited 15-20 minutes and didn't see you coming down 18.

I think we were 1hr and 20 mins off pace from a "normal round". I had a lot of fun. SIMV, take pride in your slice its nothing to be ashamed of.

I was doing pretty well with the balls until I got to the 7th hole. I lost 5 balls on that hole alone. That has always been my worst hole on the course. I sliced 2 balls into the woods before I had a good drive. I hit 3 balls on the approach just for practice, only to find out that they all went into the swamp or the pond when I left them short. On the day I probably had 4 or 5 good holes and the rest were pretty much shit. By the back 9 my arms were tired enough that I couldn't control my driver anymore so I had to go with the driving iron. It's better to hit the ball 220 straight than 220 forward and 50 yards to the right.

I was slicing and hacking around, but actually gave Ghost Recon a run for his money on a "closest to the pin" contest on the approach at 18.

Definitely looking forward to doing it again sometime.

Our front 9 took 3 hrs 15 min (then we stopped for a break/food). Our back 9 was more respectable at like 2 hrs.

GR was a heck of a golfer. I was pretty impressed with jwins also for not playing he didn't play to bad, I think he even had a par in there. I don;t wish to talk about my round though it was pretty bad like always.

All I know is thankfully I used Friday to recover so I could go to Seneca Allegany Saturday night and play some good poker, won a satelite for the Sunday noon $350 buy-in tournament in which I finished 39th out of 295 and just 10 places out of the money... dang it! :biggrin:
