Gold Cup FInal 2011 - Mexico vs USA

Good for Tim Howard. It's therapeutic to vent it out.

And he's right. If it was in Mexico City, it wouldn't have been in English.

Goalkeeper Tim Howard felt he and his teammates were disrespected by the way the post-game formalities were conducted by regional federation CONCACAF ? one of soccer?s most controversial governing bodies ? and vented his ire as he prepared to step on to the team bus.
But I really like this one. Runs right in line with FIFA/Sepp Blatter (we have no corruption issues).

CONCACAF media relations staff was unavailable for comment in regards to the decision to hold presentations solely in Spanish.

CONCACAF being corrupt and shady - I'm stunned :bonk:

I'm surprised by the lack of comments about how poor the officiating was. It seemed like there were a ton more fouls called on the US than on Mexico. The US would have lost regardless, but officiating always seems to be an issue in CONCACAF games.

FIFY. Now, I haven't watched the Final, but given Mexico's size I can easily see them playing some pussified football much like the Barcelona-Real Madrid game 1 in the Champions League earlier this year. :shake: It's shit like that make me realize why people to jump on the soccer train here in America.
