if you wanted, you could see whether he expects Troy to start or not. I guess that would be the only thing I'd ask him, and would take his response with a grain of salt.

You could ask him if his wife's taken to yelling, "Not So Fast My Friend!" when he's lookin' to get a little "action" at home.

Or you could say, "Its 3 pm, do you know where your cell phone is?" And then say into yours-- as if you stole his--, "Hey, is this really Pete Carroll? you don't know me, but I'm your number one guy!"

We badge in and out now. Everyone is worried that they are doing it to keep our hours and watch our breaks (I believe it had become a big issue recently).

Actually, i just picked up a buddy of mine from marathon and headed over there... decent crowd. Herbie is a class act. Actually had a "conversation" w/ the guy. A few tidbits;

- he thinks we're going to kill texas. says the atmosphere at the 'shoe will be way too much to overcome

- thinks miami, oh, will be a tough first game for us and we better come prepared

- our toughest game other then michigan will be the penn st night game

- doesn't think that iowa will be too difficult

I pray that you are joking.

In our lobby at work, we have new turnstyle-like areas that we must waive our security card over. We HAVE to do this everytime we come in and leave. Since this activity is logged in a database, it becomes very easy for supervisors to grab a report of every employees logged hours.

It's not necessarily that this is a regular practice, but there is widespread concern that it CAN be easily used for micro-managing employee time.

I lose a little peice of myself everytime I consider the fact that you thought they track where we go to lunch.
