Giovanni Strassini: A Football Fantasy

IMO, the whole thing has kind of jumped the shark. The guy will never impersonate an Ohio State player or Ohio State alumnus again in his life. Continuing to engage him here seems to be giving in to what he's craving: attention.

The guy is more pathetic than any legitimate threat now. Let him slink back to wherever he crawled out from under.

After this he is probably going to change his name. I am going to take a wild guess and say he is going to use a name of an actual football player. It will save him all the Wiki legwork.

Or we could direct him towards some Penn State boards. His conspiracy theory BS and general lunacy would fit in perfectly. Hell, he could even get elected to their BOT as long as he learned to say nice things about Joe Paterno.

Wait, I just figured out who doctored the Wiki page. It was Louis Freeh.

I keep hearing about this supposed court decision that establishes that the man that vr spoke with is Giovanni Strassini, but not associated with any of the aliases. It's funny, with all of the court records that we have seen brought into this thread that's the one we have NOT seen.

This guy seems to have impostor issues, and may be a sociopath as well.

I don't buy anything he said for one second. It's one thing to laugh about someone putting something in Wikipedia, but it's quite another to show up at alumni functions and sign bowling pins and whatever other memorabilia he signed.

The fact that he was disassociated from the Charlotte chapter speaks volumes to me. The guy is scum. This thread has been epic, but I'm with ORD - the more we pay attention to this fraud, the more his ego and demented view of the world are fed. He's already pulled the "Wikipedia is out to get me" crap, there's no telling how he actually perceives the world since he lies as soon as he opens his mouth or types (badly) another manifesto.

I didn't get into this business to please sophomore Tracy Schwartzman, so... onward and upward.

The phrase "Jumped the shark" has jumped the shark.

I think the Strassini v. Strassini case unequivocally establishes that Finkle is Einhorn and vice versa.

I know we are all having a lot of fun with this, but on a serious note - based on the factual information made available in this thread alone, Mr. Strassini's conduct indicates a propensity for unethical and immoral behavior (at the least). We aren't talking about something like passing yourself off as the guitarist for (insert cool band) at the bar to pick up girls. We are talking about a convicted felon who served time in federal prison for committing fraud. Clearly, his behavior for the last 20 years indicates that he is not a stable person. If he contacts you or attempts to establish any kind of personal communication with you, ignore him. Do not give him any personal info or a way to obtain personal info.

Debbie Downer rant over. Proceed with positivity.

Ad Monkey appreciates your concern and all the [Mark May]ing hits this thread is generating!
